Legume reintroduction complete, back to Whole30 now to the weekend

Well, over Tuesday and Wednesday I reintroduced Legumes to my post Whole30 world. On Tuesday I had some apples with Peanut Butter for breakfast, and then for dinner I had some Black Beans with leftovers from the night before.  Didn’t finish all of the beans for dinner, so included them with lunch on Wednesday.

As I expected, I didn’t really notice any issues with adding Legumes back to my diet. They have never been a big part of my diet to begin with.  I’ve never bought into the hummus craze that is currently sweeping the globe, so that wasn’t an issue.  The only time I really at beans was when I made a pot of chili, or when my girls and I had our chicken burritos, and I would have some refried beans.

Now, back to Whole30 for the next two days to reset, and then reintroduce non-gluten grains this weekend.  Not really expecting an issue there either, as those have also not really been a big part of my diet, with the exception of all the corn products that are in everything that we eat.
